Indian student attacked in Poland, survives

NEW DELHI: An Indian
student who was beaten in Poland's Pozan city has survived the attack.
A netizen named Amit Agnihotri had tweeted about the incident and claimed that the student had succumbed to his injuries. Based on this tweet, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj had sought a report on the issue from the Indian Ambassador in Poland, Ajay Bisaria.
Swaraj then spoke to Bisaria regarding the assault on the student whose name was not disclosed.
However, it was later clarified by Agnihotri that he has survived the attack and is in ICU for treatment of his injuries. Both Swaraj and Bisaria later confirmed the same
